Boxes for gifts – trends in e-commerce
There have been many interesting trends in the packaging industry in recent years. The most important of them are:
- ecological character of production – striving to minimize the production of waste and the use of artificial additives and components to the smallest possible extent, ecological prints and cardboard,
- personalization – creating packaging that reflects the brand spirit and stands out on the market,
- new types of packaging – welcome boxes, subscription boxes, mystery boxes and many more,
- unusual design and creativity – creating such boxes that will attract the attention of the customer and contribute to building a positive brand image.
These trends accompany both retail and corporate packaging and boxes for gifts.
What is the Mystery Box GeekUP?
Mystery Box GeekUP is a kind of box that perfectly fits the latest trends in the world of packaging. More and more brands are offering their customers boxes with mysterious contents. They are most often purchased in order to be given to someone.
As the name suggests, the Mystery Box GeekUP is a surprise box for gamers. A ready set of randomly selected gadgets from the universe of the most famous games was packed in an aesthetic, brown, minimalist printed box. The carton is wrapped in a symbolic linen ribbon, with ecological fillers inside – similar solutions are used in the cosmetics packaging industry. The symbolic print with the product name was not only on the top of the box, but also on the inside.
What are we going to find in this box? Sample sets can be seen in the gallery, but nothing is certain. We only know that the value of gadgets is more than the price of the box, and that it contains only licensed and original gadgets for nerds – figurines, cups, clothing. It is definitely not possible to talk here about the form exceeding the content – quite the contrary! And how do you like this idea and its implementation?
